Arya Afshar

Arya Afshar is an Iranian stand-up comedian based in Vancouver, where they are considered one of the rising stars of the scene. Their material contains transgressive political commentary, personal stories, and raw takes on current events. They've performed in JFL, Vancouver Fringe festival, among others, and won the LMG Comedy Competition in ‘26. Their debut special is set to release at the end of ‘26 and they’ll be taping another special in ‘27. They are the producer of 2 Comics 1 Mic & Sunday Delivery.

D Fretter

D Fretter is a writer, spoken word artist, and comedian living on the unceded territory of the Qayqayt First Nation. He began his creative journey at an early age. Developing his rhythm and cadence while participating in rap battles and ciphers with his friends on the playground. D’s poetic style has been described as “…like a hip-hop Andrea Gibson” or “a philosophical Shel Silverstein”. His debut poetry collection Joy + Misery peaked at number one in African Canadian Literature, and number six Canadian poetry on the Amazon charts. As a comedian D is making a name for himself in the Greater Vancouver Area for his heartfelt storytelling, charismatic stage presence, and his unique style.

Susan is a queer, faceblind Gen Xer doing observational comedy about aging, bureaucracy, and online dating—where every first date might also be a second date. They write text messages like a 19th century literary icon and has hot takes on emoji responses. Come laugh at Susan.
